• Tiros Libres: Gritándole al Lanzador
• Free Throws: Shouting to the Shooter

( for English Translation= See Below )

Larry Nance Yells "Ball Don't Lie" After Missed FTs On His Flagrant Foul! Cavaliers
With 6:57 left in the Cavaliers comeback win against the Knicks Thursday night, Cleveland’s Larry Nance Jr. set a hard pick at the top of the key for Matthew Dellavedova. Too hard. Nance knocked Noah Vonleh to the ground and extended his arms more like a football block than a pick.

That earned him a Flagrant 1 foul. Nance didn’t like the call, and he had a point. The definition of a flagrant 1 foul is “unnecessary” contact, and this was not that. It was a foul, he extended his arms, and Vonleh fell hit the ground, but it was not a high hit to the head, it was not excessive, it wasn’t unsportsmanlike or cheap, it was not unnecessary, it was just a common foul. Even Mike Breen and Walt Frazier on the Knicks broadcast didn’t think it was a flagrant foul.

However, the officials said it was, so Vonleh went to the free throw line — and promptly missed both shots. Which led Nance to yell “ball don’t lie” at the officials.

A1 is in act of a free throw shooting when an opponent attempts to distract him by shouting loudly or stamping feet heavily of the floor.
Which is the statistical rules if the shot is successful and / or unsuccessful ?

• Doble Violación en el Ultimo Tiro Libre
• Double Violation at Final Free Throw

( for English Translation= See Below )

Unsportsmanlike Foul during a throw in in the last two minutes
The referee calls an Unsportsmanlike Foul during a throw in in the last two minutes of the fourth period because he thinks the foul was committed while the ball was still in the hands of the player taking the throw-in. After talking to Crew Chief and Technical Delegate, he decided the ball had already left the hands of the player taking the throw in, a normal foul was called (2 free throws because black team was in team foul penalty situation).

It's a double violation, unless the officials deem B1's act to be disconcerting to the shooter. If this was the last of multiple free throws, play will be resumed by the alternating-possession procedure.

You can see the alternating possession definition at the eBA Global Basketball Encyclopedia. This case discussion was presented in the 6th. exposition of the Basketball Statistics Course in eBA ONLINE.

• Final Free Throw Attemp & Violation
• Intento de Último Tiro Libre & Violación

( para Traducción al Español= Ver a Continuación )

On a final free-throw attempt by A1, B1 commits a lane violation. A1's free throw misses the ring and flange. Is it a double violation ?
How to stats-rule it?

UCF Center Tacko Fall Misses Four Free Throws In A Row on One Foul
Tacko Fall is a great player for the UCF Knights. He is 7'6" (some say 7'7") and athletic. But he needs to get rid of the yip and twist before he shoots his free throws. I predict he will, and will become a great player. It is the first time I have seen someone miss four throws in a row at the free throw line on a single foul. It happens because there are two lane violations which give Tacko two more chances than usual.

• Only Free Throws and Changes Tracking

( for English Translation= See Below )

Illegal Substitution
A player who has been REPLACED, or directed to leave the game SHALL NOT REENTER before the next opportunity to substitute after the clock has been started properly following his/her replacement.

White#15 was replaced and then immediately came back in the game before the clock had been started after he was initially replaced.

A technical foul for entering without beckoning from official must have been called.

Rule Fundamental: If a violation is committed by the free-throw shooter on a last or only free throw, the resulting dead ball situation creates a substitution opportunity for both teams, whether or not a request for a substitution was made before the ball was placed at the disposal of the free-throw shooter for the first or only free throw.

Rule Interpretation: The substitutions are permitted. Following a violation, either team may substitute.

eBA Statistical Tracking: Nothing special out of the free throws and the changes register.

• Doble Cambio/s en el Ultimo Tiro Libre
• 2 Substitution/s in the Last Free Throw

( for English Translation= See Below )

During a last free throw, free-throw shooter A1 commits a violation.
Then  A9 and / or B9 request to enter the game as a substitute.
Those substitutions for either team had not been requested BEFORE the last free throw.
Which is the rule ? We have here any statistical special register ?
